The Most Shocking Picture Ever Made!

This computer generated image is an exact representation of 3-billionths of a mouse’s brain. It’s about the size of a dust particle. It took teams of scientists from Harvard and other universities 5 years to figure this out.
Dr. Jeff Lichtman of Harvard, the leader of the team, said it will take more computer data than is in the world today to precisely map the human brain as they did this tiny speck of a mouse’s brain. And it would take over would take one billion years to do it!
The really wild thing about this is that our DNA only has about 30,000 protein-coding regions. How can 30,000 of anything build a brain like ours AND everything else in the human body? Apparently DNA is the ultimate condensation of knowledge, requiring an infinite mind to weave it all together!
Note: In thinking more about this picture, I think it may be the most astonishing picture ever made showing the infinite complexity of the Creation. Think about it…This is three BILLIONTHS of a mouse’s brain. Multiply it by 300 million and you have a mouse’s brain! That’s crazy complex! Who would have ever dreamed there is so much going on inside a mouse’s head? How can anything that crammed together possibly work? How can our brains work? How can DNA ever build something like this? How can a dust-sized code build us and our brains to boot? Scientists are now saying that we are continually making roughly 10 million 3-11 dimensional electrical pathways in every BB-sized part of the brain. AND THEY THINK THAT THIS IS WHERE WE MAY STORE MEMORY! Huh? This is computerization of another universe!
Things like this make me wonder about what is to come by His power. God says this about the world to come:
“Things which the eye has not seen, and the ear not heard, and which have not entered the mind of man..all this God has prepared for those who love Him.” - 2 Corinthians.2:9
After understanding more what God had to do to create the mouse, and us, these words hit with FAR greater power!
Thank you Dr. Jeff W. Lichtman for your incredible research and the use of your remarkable picture!
