The Most Critical 3 Minutes In History

Renita and I got to spend some time in the High Sierras, one of my favorite stomping grounds since my teen years. I got a chance to revisit Joseph’s amazing life.

Joseph was given two visions of his brothers bowing to him. However, the fulfillment of his vision was exceedingly more than the actual vision he was given.

The completion was staggeringly bigger….affecting billions of people. It was a complete blow away.

One miracle was followed by a series of open doors that God kept open…Then God moved with miracles and timings over and over and over again.

Joseph’s miracle was a critical part of a much bigger plan. When God acted, it became a chess piece move that would change the world. A series of God-planned events began to unfold.

Who could have fathomed Moses, Israel, Ruth, Boaz, David, and Solomon? How about Isaiah, Esther, Daniel, his three friends, and Mary and Joseph? Then came Jesus, the Apostles, Pentecost, Paul, Christians around the world, and their effect on the world.  

Who could have imagined? And, the priceless gift of the Word of God was being given every step of the way.

It all goes back to three minutes with Joseph, when God intervened in his meeting with the Pharaoh of Egypt.

It was arguably the most critical three minutes of human history. No man could alter it, stop it or make it go away. The eternal God decreed it…and everything is powerless to stop what the Almighty mandates WILL happen.

The Star Creator, the Maker of the atoms of the universe–the designer and builder of all life and beauty on earth—can not be surprised or bested. He always had well-conceived plans–put in place before the earth was created. And He uses His Josephs in unthinkable ways as they walk in faithful, loving, forgiving, cheerful, connected confidence in Him.

When they do, GOD SHOWS UP AND WILDLY SHOWS OFF.
