Anxious For Nothing
“Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6,7
NOT TO WORRY–EVEN ABOUT SMALL STUFF

When you’re tempted to worry, remember that God says be anxious for nothing. There will be innumerable occasions for to be tempted to worry in your lifetime. God says we don’t need to worry. If we make our central ambition to please Him, He will help us with all the rest of life, just like He did with His Son.
One of my friends once desperately needed money. He and his wife cried out to God for help. Afterward he took a trip to the dump with some trash. While there, he saw an unusually bright object sparkling just across from where he parked. He decided to investigate.
Walking over fifty feet, he located the object and pulled out what he discovered to be a can. Inside it were nine one hundred dollar bills. He checked with the authorities and found no one had filed a report of its loss, so he kept it. Needless to say, he went home praising God with a bit of walking and leaping!
God wants to be with us and to help us in every frustrating or troubling situation we will ever find ourselves in.
A LITTLE HELP WITH THE DOOR–SWEET
One time we drove four hours from home to a tiny desert town named Quartzite to visit some friends. This town is so small that I thought it would be easy to find them, but as I drove over the final bluff, I saw thousands of trailers spreading out for miles into the desert. “Oh, no,” I groaned. “This is a huge retreat center for retirees. We’ll never find them!”
We drove everywhere we could for two hours with no luck whatsoever. After praying about our little problem, we decided to take a break for lunch and headed for McDonalds, the only fast food place in town.

Right as we reached the front door it opened just as I was reaching to push it open like it was an automated door. It was our friends! They were leaving. Talk about timing. To the tenth of a second!
REAL LIFE: A BILLION LITTLE THINGS WE NEED GOD IN

So much of real life involves very real little things. God loves to help us in these situations to show us His love and care for us.
A friend once lost the diamond from her wedding ring. Diamonds are small. Ever tried to find one? She frantically searched all throughout the house combing the carpets sweeping the floors, and looking behind, inside, and around everything she could find, but all to no avail.
After a couple of thoroughly frustrating hours, she stepped outside for a break.
Walking down our sidewalk she plopped on the steps coming up from her driveway and sobbed, “Lord, please help!
We don’t have any money for another diamond. I’ve searched everywhere I can think. I have no idea where else to look.”
Then she looked down. A foot below her nose, her diamond sparkled in the sunlight. She about danced to the door!

“Wondrously show your lovingkindness” Psalms 17:7
Do wonders to show Your great love for others and for me today. Amen!

Bring every detail to God. Then thank Him because He is your eternal Father by His Choice.
He fantastically delights in you. And He completely understands your situation and your desires.
He will do what is very best for you and all those your life touches now and all it will touch!
