LASIK: Lasik eye surgery is surgery performed using lasers. 

LASIK: The pulsating speed of the laser used in Lasik is so slow that it will burn the cells away without causing any heat to transfer to the surrounding neighboring cells.

LASIK: The iris will grow back together again because the cells on the side of the vaporized cells aren’t damaged.

LASIK: During the surgery, lasers pulsing at a femtosecond are shot at the cornea of the eye for six minutes straight.

LASIK: These etching excimer lasers are controlled by computers so they make cuts extremely precise.  These laser bursts cut a circular flap on the top layer of the cornea very quickly.

LASIK: The flap of the cornea is then lifted and a computer-guided 193 nm UV laser shapes the cornea.  The process of shaping is made possible by the tracking ability of the laser. It tracks the eyes movement at 4000 times per second while vaporizing unwanted parts of the cornea.

CORNEA PUMPS:  Your cornea is continually drawing in water like a sponge by osmosis from both sides of it.  This water is used for a variety of functions, from lubricating the surface of the cornea with tear water or feeding the cornea by aqueous humor liquid underneath it.

CORNEA PUMPS:  The incoming water moves the collagen ropes apart like how you spread your bed sheets apart.  If collagen was allowed to spread freely like your fingers can spread apart, this would act like a wall that stops light from coming into your eye. 

CORNEA PUMPS:  To prevent this from making you blind, you have tiny cellular fusion reactors in your cornea that continually pump water out of the spaces which makes it so you can see.

CORNEA PUMPS:   When a dog or a cat–or a person dies,  their eyes turn a whitish color. This is because the tiny pumps stop working and the cornea of the eye fills with water. 

This causes light to no longer pass through, giving the eye the cloudy color.
